[ Yes, certainly not in the current moment. But, that doesn't mean anytime soon wasn't exactly out of the question, which is Jing Yuan's main concern. The other had already dragged himself out of bed previous, which is something he won't have forgotten.

He has no words to say in response to Shinjiro's other response thus far on his way out to the kitchen; instead, he keeps in mind the answer. At least when he returns he doesn't find him asleep so that he will have to wake him up or something. ]

[ Jing Yuan approaches to where the other male is lying down, bringing the tea closer to him. In normal circumstances, the temperature would be rather hot, but there was time taken to account for that as well. ]

...I've more or less added a bit of magic so that it should minimally help with at least some of what kind of pains that may be assailing you. Please, have a try, and do give me an honest evaluation. Not that I imagine you'd be capable of less.

[ Whenever the other should, he will certainly find the tea tastes as it should, and it will help in healing/easing away headaches at least, even if not all the aching. ]

Either way, he'll get up properly, swinging his legs over the side of the bed to take the offered cup. It's mildly surprising it's not as hot as expected, but then again, this does seem like something the nosy old guy would do....more considerate than his trollish tendencies would let on. At least it's a good thing, this time.

He does pause with it partway to his lips at the explanation, peering down at the liquid in the cup before raising his eyes to squint at Jing Yuan himself. All these guys and their fancy healing tea, and everything else. ]

...You guys are gettin' the hang of this way too easy. [ Is it a grumble? Maybe someone's own healing attempts didn't turn out so hot...but it's not like that had ever been his forte to begin with. He'll stick to the bandages and first aid kits. ] But...thanks.

[ There's a sip, bigger than usual since it's not so hot, and there's a second after swallowing where Shinjiro blinks before taking another. It's no all-cure, but damn if it doesn't help the throbbing headache he's had. ]

It's good. [ He's honest, as expected. ] And it works, at least. My head ain't giving me total hell anymore.

Anyway, jokes aside, even when the other certainly pauses at his explanation, he probably is sporting a little serene smile of some sort that widens a little. Or perhaps that happens because Shinjiro is squinting at him, but at least he doesn't laugh.

Instead, he only patiently awaits a response of some sort. ]

Haha, I'd like to see that is certainly true across all the board, though it is also true that there is quite a way to go still where I am concerned. [ But, Tthere is a pause at the expression of thanks. ] Either way...it truly is no problem at all.

[ Though, perhaps the even bigger indication that the other man actually truly benefits from it at all (and that it's working??) is not only the fact Shinjiro is able to take a bigger sip, but his further commentary. It isn't something he's done himself often so he wasn't certain of the result, so this makes the relief set relief to whatever tension might have been remaining. ]

Mm, good. This sort of method of using magic isn't exactly my forte. And I certainly could tell you were in quite a degree of pain. It would be quite a shame if it would effect your ability to sleep and recover, no?
