[ Welcome to Shinji's room, Ahito. It's fairly muted, the walls a basic shade of light brown, and a plain beige rug over the floor. There's a brown loveseat against one wall, if he chooses to sit, or a cherrywood desk pushed next to the mussed bed covered in a handful of cookbooks with a chair up for grabs. It does, however, have Shinji's coat hooked over the back of it. All in all, while it seems somewhat cozy, it also feels kind of...empty? The personal touches are few, and there's a distinct feeling of someone who's not too attached.
Shinji himself, merely closes the door once Ahito steps in, shooting him another curious look at the offer. ]
Don't have much of an appetite, so I'll just eat when the mood strikes. [ He's still well enough to slink off to the kitchen and back, if need be...but he's not too fond of handouts. Relying on people during missions and duties is fine, but there's something that has him hesitating for all these...normal situations. ] Jing Yuan brought me somethin' a while back, anyway. Don't worry about it.
Whatever you can tell me about the job you guys were given - particularly defending yourselves against the moon rocks. It's either the Western representatives or us Norths next, so the more I can learn before then, the better.

[C'mon sensei, test his food out, it's perfectly good and safe (genuinely). That said, he's flopping on the couch, leg casually crossed.]
You've been able to rest at least, right?
no subject
...Fine. Guess I might as well see if you learned anything.
[ Are you implying you haven't been practicing...Ahito... ]
Yeah, besides all the nagging visitors.

Why, were people keeping you up?

[ No incident is free of Jing Yuan...as he's learned. ]
But that's how people around here are, I guess. I'm used to it.

[He does sound mildly amused, though.]

[ The exasperation is real....still, he doesn't sound mad about it, at least.
Moving on!!]
Whatever. You wanted information, right? Well, spit it out.
