Mm. Well, you saw how he was in the jail. When he feels very strongly about something, he doesn't try to hide it. It's nothing to do with whether you could confront me on your own, even though we both know you're more than capable.

[They're adults, and can speak to each other like adults. Usually. Don't look at Solomon.]

...You said Urianger and Ithaqua's disagreement was bothering you as well?

I've told him upfront that I trust you to work things out with me, and I've left it at that. Whether he's believed me or not, I'm not entirely sure. But I sincerely think that's a matter of his trust in my word, not your capabilities.

[Akira better know that much, man, or he's gonna be REALLY disappointed in Akira smh]

You're right. Ithaqua has every right to be upset if he took your information and came to a negative conclusion about it. It's fine to be frustrated. It's fine to be angry, even.

How he chooses to react, though? That is on him. He chose to lash out and make a decision based on his feelings, and he has to deal with the ripple effect of that.

You can feel empathy for Urianger's situation, Bruno, but you can't control where the ripples of your choices go.

Mm. I imagine it becomes easier to expect the poor reactions, even if it negates the positive ones.

...

[He sighs quietly.]

You know... what I say, and what others are saying to help you... it can apply to your family too, Bruno. Maybe not as easily, if things have been this way for decades, but it's still no less true.
