fallingsand: (16; they say he saw the future)

Great, because it wasn't enough trouble already.

[ Bruno can't help but sound resigned by that fact. He doesn't have many good experiences when it comes to his visions and, even with Urianger there, not seeing it the same way he does, this doesn't change that fact. All he sees are, he assumes, bad outcomes.

Still, after the vision of the burning manor drifts away, the storm itself begins calming and Bruno finally lets go of Urianger's hand to reach up towards the flames before they dissipate entirely. There's no verbal component to it, but the sense that he's bidding them to come down to him is there, and they do just that, obedient to the man who created them. He catches those flames in his hands, only they've begun to form into something else, something solid, and just as the magic powering the whirlwind departs, Bruno uses that same thing as a kind of shield to stop the sand that's now going to drop itself on top of them both.

Oops.

Maybe he should have warned Urianger about that.

Regardless, what's left in his hand is a thick, rough-hewn pane of green... glass?
