[ He just watches Bruno gesture wildly for a few seconds before he tilts his head. What... ]
What's going on? [ Puts on his sage hat, lets the door close. He gestures to the chair by his desk, which is now clear of clothes. ] Sit. Speak slowly.
[ Look, he'll step into the room for the sake of not making a scene out in the hallway, but does he sit? No! No, he does not! Instead, he tries gesturing again, adamantly in one direction. ]
¡No! ¡No es momento de sentarse! ¡Está tramando algo!
[ Suddenly, he feels like he's having a stroke. He doesn't understand anything that comes out of Bruno's mouth. He tilts his head, unsure what to do in the face of panic he doesn't understand.
After a beat, he turns to grab his sage tome and pen, conveniently sitting on a nearby surface, and hands out both to him. ]
[ Draw? Draw! Yes, he can draw! Bruno perks up visibly at that suggestion. ]
¡Sí!
[ Only he's about to find out that— well. Bruno takes the tome and pen and starts trying to draw who he means but... scribble... that. That doesn't look like anything??? He frowns down at the tome and tries again. He draws... a flower! Wait, no. He scratches that out again. ]
[ Between the scribble, the flower, the scratching out of said flower, and the disgruntled grumbling, Tatara kind of pieces together what's happening to Bruno. ]
Oh, wait, I think I get what's going on.
[ He trots over to his shelf and retrieves a plain-looking stone. When he comes back to Bruno, he holds it up to his face, and it begins to glow.
Yay! His little magic detecting rock works! ]
Did someone cast a spell on you? Is that why I can't understand you?
Mm— [ Tatara tosses the rock onto the bed and thinks. ] Okay. Do this if you ate or drank something weird— [ He puts both hands in the air. ] —or do this if it was a person that did this to you. [ He extends both arms out to each side. ]
[ Bruno nods! Yes! He can... he can... ah, well, he tries to turn to move for the door and finds his feet won't cooperate, much like his drawing wouldn't. Hm. ]
[ He goes to grab his sage's tome and flips through it quickly (and Bruno will get a nice little peek inside—now he knows every wizard has a page dedicated to themselves filled with notes!). When he's done, he holds up five fingers again. ]
I guess...my thumb for Yodarha, index for Syrlya, middle for&mdahs;oh, that's you. Never mind. Um, middle for Robin, ring for Solomon?
[ Bruno attempts to point out a specific finger but he finds that, too, is too close to discussing the culprit in question. Think, Bruno, think! How can he... hm... hmmm... oh! He knows! He holds up both hands. ]
Hang on.
[ And turns to cross Tatara's room, right over to his bed. From that, he strips a sheet from the bed. With that in hand, he gives it a dramatic swoosh as he drapes it across his shoulders much like... a cloak? ]
[ Curse Robin and Solomon for looking exactly the same! Get some individuality, you two! Uh, but anyway, Bruno shakes his head adamantly no, nope, not that one. ]
[ As much as he wants to yell "bingo" and give Tatara the good ol' fingerguns for getting it right, he can't. Acknowledging that it's Solomon is forbidden, alas. This means all he can do is hold very still and give him a faint smile. ]
Uh, well, I was prying into... something? That you already know about?
[ That feels vague enough to slip through the hex and what do you know? It does. That's some small relief. Solomon had mentioned he'd already told Tatara about where he was going, hence his next stop being Tatara's room. ]

metal gear solid sound here wait i mean]¡Lo entendiste!
[ Bruno adds two thumbs up when Tatara guesses that. Good job, Mr. Sage. ]

Ohh! Okay! Someone did this to you! Then—
[ He puts both hands up in the air again. ] It's someone we know, [ and then puts them out to the side again. ] or is it someone we don't know?

[ Well. Considering they don't know many other wizards besides themselves— ]
Could you take me to their room?
no subject
...or not. Nope. No, can't do that.
[ Well, at least that wasn't in Spanish. ]
no subject
Wow, whoever did this to you really doesn't want you telling anyone about them...
[ Who is petty enough to do that? He has no idea! ]
I'm guessing you won't be able to tell me what room they're in... How about the floor? [ He holds out his hand, palm towards Bruno, all fingers up. ]
With my thumb as the first floor and my pinky as the fifth, can you touch what floor they're on?
no subject
That's a three, good buddy. ]

...Robin?
[ He doesn't seem to care Bruno's made a mess of his bed. ]

Oh! [ Tatara brings a fist onto his open palm. He's seen someone else on that floor wear fashion like that before! ] Solomon! Uncle Solomon, right?

Hmm... Solomon doesn't want Bruno talking about him? Weird. Tatara tilts his head, a little frown on his face. ]
So it is... Why did he do this to you?
no subject
[ That feels vague enough to slip through the hex and what do you know? It does. That's some small relief. Solomon had mentioned he'd already told Tatara about where he was going, hence his next stop being Tatara's room. ]

[ The whole "oops you're wizards now" deal. ]
no subject
I don't actually know...
[ He didn't get much from his prying besides this hex. Terrible trade-off. ]
no subject
You don't know? Why he cursed you?
[ hello? ]
He didn't like what you were doing and just decided to keep you from talking about him?!
