I'm not. I was around there when I stopped aging. Mn... maybe. Probably? [He waves a hand, dismissing the idea before it goes too far.] But that was a really long time ago. I've stopped keeping track.
[Sorry about the mini crisis there, Tio Bruno.
He considers the question with a hum and a thin frown towards the fire. But eventually, he shakes his head.]
Sorry. If I can see it through, I'll explain. But if you managed to track me, then that means I don't know who else might be doing the same. There's just some things I have to make sure gets done by my own hands, so I don't hold any regrets.
[ He can't believe Solomon is so much older than him but looks so much better, that isn't faaaiiiir. ]
I. Look, it isn't like I don't understand how that is. Trust me, I do! But what if something bad happens to you? How will we know when to look for you? Or help you?
[ Tatara? Hello? Why is their sage approving mysterious missions? ]
You don't want... Solomon, you couldn't even tell I was tracking you for two weeks. You aren't whatever all-power magician you were before, not anymore. You should want help!
[And with Solomon's wand still in hand, he barely has to move it.]
Manu Propria.
[Since we rolled 18 against Bruno's 6:
Bruno will feel Solomon's magic drape around his throat like a rope that's pulling far too tight, before the sensation immediately fades into coolness. Have fun with the hex, buddy.]
[ Bruno gives a jerk, sitting upright fast in the chair when he feels the magic wrap itself around his throat. He grabs for it but there's nothing there, physically, for him to get a grip on. Sure, there is a flicker of panic that crosses his face, but once he realizes he isn't dying, well.
He jolts up out of the chair to stand, stepping towards Solomon and opening his mouth to demand to know what he just did but...
Nothing comes out, since that would be talking about Solomon. That isn't something he can do anymore, for now. He'll try again, twice more, before giving the sorcerer a certified nasty look for what he's done. ]
¡Hijueputa!
[ Well, at least he can still say that about Solomon! ]
[ No more coming along for his crimes, huh? That does a fair job of putting a pin in whatever anger Bruno was feeling. Whatever this is, Solomon is running off into danger, not wanting to involve anyone else, huh? Is that it? That simply leaves him deflating somewhat into what is truly worse than being mad.
It's giving Solomon a sad, disappointed look, but he doesn't say anything else. ]
[ Bruno will shrug away from the hand on his shoulder which is, frankly, a big step down from slapping it away, so perhaps he is too kind a soul. He won't need Solomon to show him out. He'll go on his own without another word. ]
[He doesn't keep the grip once it's removed. He simply stays where he is, watching Bruno leave. Once the man is fully in the hall, the closing of the door and clicking of a lock is the only indication that Solomon has shut him out officially.

[...]
Not for this. I can do it on my own.
Tatara knows where I'm going to be. Trust his judgement if you can't trust mine.
[Just don't come after him.]

[Not magician. He hates that word. Demeaning little title.]
I said no, Bruno, and I meant no. Are we going to have a problem?

[ It's all the same thing? Hello? ]
I mean, I don't think my spell would have brought me here if this wasn't going to be a problem, s-so, yeah, I think we are.

[Damn, he needs to still work out the kinks of his hexing if the Spanish is still getting through... oh well. Good enough for now.
He finally lifts himself from his spot next to the fireplace, brushing himself off with an apologetic smile.]
Sorry. Just leave this to me for right now, okay?
No more coming along with my crimes.

Solomon's eyes soften slightly.]
No need for that. If Akira could have broken you out, I would have taken the blame for you without question. You're far too kind a soul.
[He walks to the other side of Bruno's chair, a hand slipping to his shoulder.]
Come on. Out you go.
