[ Day sure didn't miss that the Central wizards looked worse for wear after they returned from their mission. He hasn't spoken to them, but Morag is one of the few he has, even if it was brief. So he's here at her door knocking to check in on her. ]

[She takes little time to open the door, looking mildly surprised. Guests, even visitors, are not people she expects to have ever greeted.]

Is everything all right?

[Must be some kind of crisis, right?]

I should be askin' you that instead.

[ Central y'all came back looking awful? ]

Why? Is there something I should know?

[She instinctively leans out to look down the hallway. Maybe that damned machine has come back to harass her?]

[ ...Something feels very off about this. ]

You guys all came back lookin' pretty bad, so I wanted to check in on you. [ Syr even mentioned Morag was one of the worse-off ones, which is also why he came to check in on her. ]

I'm fine. Is something amiss with the others?

[Of course it's a quick, reflexive dismissal. Never mind that she appears to be using her left arm as little as possible, to the point where she doesn't even fold it to adopt her usual at-ease posture. Obviously, if she's alive, she's all right -- what other standards should there be?]

[ He has noticed that, which is why he's saying this: ]

An injury during battle. It has been treated. [If that's something you call 'wrong'...]

What happened? 'Cause it seems pretty bad if you can't move it much even after treatement.

Ghosts. It was two injuries in separate places, so I have wrapped my arm entirely so I do not reopen the wound unthinkingly. [She touches the spots on her left arm, indicating where the wounds are under her bandages and sleeve.]

[ Man, the ghosts really fucked up the Central wizards, huh... ]

I know you've already got treated, but if you need any more healin' you can always ask me.

Oh? You have actually developed healing magic?

[This absolutely has her attention. Injuries like this aren't common for a Driver, nor is a lack of healing from a Blade's assistance. She'll address the details later.]

I won't say I'm an expert either, but I can take a look and see what I can do.

[Stubborn? Yes. Baffled that people seem to think she's so weak? Absolutely. But certainly not stupid.]

I would welcome some treatment of that nature.

[Stepping away from the door, she begins carefully shrugging off her Central jacket.]

[ Ma'am when almost all of you didn't come back looking so good, at least a few people were going to worry. Day is nothing less than a professional in this regard, at least.

[Her left arm is completely bandaged, and relatively tightly -- not because the entire arm is in poor shape, but to keep her from moving it excessively. With her uniform jacket shrugged off, she turns sidelong to present that arm fully.]

If you need to remove the bandages, by all means.

Alright. It'll just be a moment.

[ And he'll remove them as he said, to see exactly what the damage is. ]

[Two deep but narrow gashes, one on the upper arm and one near the elbow on her lower. She's treated them with narrow bandages in the place of sutures, holding the skin together with their own force and the help of the larger bandages. Luckily, the cuts are quite clean, and she's tended them well so that infection isn't a danger. They ought to heal on their own... eventually.]

[ Hmmm. All things considered, she did good work with what she had. Day will not claim to be a medicine expert, but he was mentored by someone who was, as much as Day wishes he paid more attention to that now.

Day takes out his prayer beads and mutters his spell. It might feel a little odd to Morag, but it's not unpleasant. It's the feeling of something gently ushering the wounds to reach that "eventually" a little sooner, helping to close the wounds. ]

[This feeling isn't unfamiliar. It's like Nia's most powerful healing, if on a far smaller scale. The immediate effect makes her wince and flinch slightly -- not out of pain, but because both the wounds suddenly start itching fiendishly.]

That definitely worked, to judge by how it feels. Do you know how long it will take?

I'd say...couple of days more? You did pretty good first aid, given the circumstances.

It ain't a big deal. I'd rather if anyone's injured that they try seein' a healer since some of the things runnin' 'round here are no joke.

I would have done so immediately had I known anyone possessed the skill. From the lack in the mission I presumed no focus had been placed on such things.

[Certainly she hadn't, even though any Driver could in theory wield a healing Blade quite effectively, because she had no idea her performance without Brighid or a Blade's amplification would be so abysmal.]
