Twice a week at most, but I usually feed once a week. I don't need too much if I feed when I'm not as hungry - an' I make sure never to drain anyone too damn much.

Annoyin' an' pretentious. My ol' lady's name is "Rosalie of Annihilation Eclipse". The "of whatever pretentious thing here" title is their family name an' they use their whole damn names with other nobles all the time it's suuuuch a pain.
My ol' lady's a vampire lord. 'Cept, I didn't know that 'til she captured me. She thought I was dead, but I'd been abandoned in the slums, an' I never knew her. But she let me stay with her for awhile, tryin' to teach me how to fit in an' all. It went 'bout as well as you'd expect, given everythin' I am.

Right? It's totally crazy. I thought for sure she was lyin' at first, but... Well, I mean, vampires can kinda tell who their kin are just by scent an' senses an' she did seem familiar in a way I couldn't place. So that much is true, strange as it sounds.
Huh. Guess fate works out funny like that. [ He says as if he isn't familiar with exactly all the weird little ways fate works in. ] Is kin important to vampires, or...? [ It's kind of hard to say whenever the answer with nobles back home has always been "It's Complicated". ]
Usually, yeah. 'Specially for nobles. They use 'em like pawns though, matchmakin' an' makin' allies for whatever stupid squabbles they're bound to get into, over territory or whatever. So it's not so much the kin that's important as it is the bloodline, if that makes sense?
If relationships are a universal truth, then that part still holds up, I suppose.
And, uh, I'm fresh off dealing with something to do with ridiculous noble family politics, so yeah. [ He won't talk about the fact that his real job tends to involve messing around in politics at least a little, but this part is also true. ]
