[ He looks pensive, like he has thoughts on that, but his version of revenge isn't nearly as intense as Kurapika's reasoning.

Revenge isn't worth it for him. Maybe it is for Kurapika. It probably is. ]

Yeah. I can understand that.

...I've made significant progress on my goals. I have most of the eyes back, and I've killed two of the perpetrators.

[ His tone is matter-of-fact, simply a statement of what he has done.

There's no happiness to be found in his voice. ]

[ Hm. He catches onto that. ]

You don't sound too happy about that.

[ Kurapika looks down at his left hand, the hand the dealt the most blows to the first person he killed. ]

...Killing hurts. The smell of blood, the sound of bones being broken, the feeling of it on my hands... I don't like it.

[ His eyes drift back to Yamato. ]

It makes me feel ill.

Yeah. I can imagine.

[ Killing sucks, actually! Wow. ]

I hope you don't have to do it here.

[ ...much, anyway. ]

I've tried to avoid it as much as possible, even while hunting monsters.

[ He really, really doesn't like it. ]

I won't kill a human or a wizard, if I can help it.

I believe it.

[ But if Kurapika has to, Yamato is sure he'd have a good reason for it, soooo. ]

I'll keep that in mind, just in case we get in a tricky situation together.

If you're thinking about killing on my behalf, don't. Let the one who has actually done it before take care of it.

[ He won't like it and it will destroy another little piece of him, but it would destroy more of Yamato, he's sure. ]

No. I'm saying that I'll do what I can to keep that from being a necessity.

[ Ideally, neither of them will have to. ]

[ Oh. Good.

His shoulders immediately relax, the sudden tension that was in his body dissipating. ]

Alright. I'll accept that. [ He pauses. ] However, if a situation does turn around and someone needs to die... let me deliver that blow on your behalf.
