[ That, effectively, catches him off-guard. The hit lands and it hurts like hell. Yamato grunts and if he weren't so determined to prove himself, he'd keel over...but he doesn't. He scoffs. ]

[ Thank god being a wizard means they're much studier than they otherwise would be. He hisses as the punch connects, but he lets go of Yamato's wrist. ]

It's hard to envision how any one battle will go, but the more training you have, the easier it becomes to adapt to what you're given.

Twelve...that's a really young age to do all of this. Your world doesn't mess around, if this is how strong you are now. There're people who know how to fight in my world, but I can't imagine many people being at your level.
Access to money and privilege in my world is gatekept by obtaining a Hunter's license. It motivates people enough to learn how to battle, which creates a world where battle takes prominence.
[ Which he thinks is neither good or bad. It simply is what it is. ]
Magic, powers...all of that doesn't really exist outside of fiction in my world. We have weapons and fighting, but things that are supernatural like this aren't really a thing there.
