( Fortunately, Mika awakens quick; less fortunately, he awakens startled, eyes snapping wide and snapping upright, his blade summoned to his hand with a quick mutter of his spell—
But his perception is quick and he sees well in the dark, and so he stops short of a concerning muscular reflex, recognizing the intruder is Solomon - and recognizing a lack of hostility in the air. The tension on Mika's half holds for a few moments longer before he ... does not dismiss his blade, but he does lower it some.
He looks exhausted - like he'd have been better off not sleeping at all. )
It takes him a second to even think about what Solomon could've seen - dreams exist in that nebulous space if memory until called upon, and this is not one Mika would enjoy recalling.
But it's clear when the familiar images cross his mind, because he pales - eyes widening - his face snapping away - then he looks back to Solomon, swallowing hard.
I'm not sure I'd call them a vampire. They didn't look anything like you are now.
But they did feel very much like a demon. They watched you and asked what you desired, and as soon as you gave in, they moved you like a puppet.
[He keeps his words calm and careful. But his eyes show pain, a sight of so many young dead and the panic of one who only wanted them to live being riddled with so much guilt, wanting only the one he felt close to to be happy and safe, and for the depths to snap that desire up into their mouths and swallow it whole, regardless of what happened to Mika.]
( Mika... grimaces at that description. That does sound like a demon, but... )
... I don't. I remember a monster, but...
( He shakes his head, exhaling sharp - he just. rubs his face. Was that a demon? And if it was - why? )
... A vampire doesn't have enough desire to feed a demon. So they don't... usually bother with us. ( He doesn't know all the details, but he knows the basics, considering vampires and demons are intertwined. ) ... I don't know why one would visit me. Especially not... That dream—... It's what I saw when I died. Just before I came here. I just... figured the monster was me.
( Mika is such an easy target, in this way. He can logic out the chance of a visitor and guilt himself into taking on responsibility for the rest. )

... Why are you here?

I believe you might have been enchanted.
Take a second to collect yourself. I'm not here to hurt you.

... What kind of enchantment?

[He carefully lowers to a seat on the bed, hands both visibly in his lap. He's not here to do anything, Mika. You're okay.]
I figured it was not something you would want shared. But as far as I know, I was the only one who spotted it.

He doesn't seem sure what to say, at first. )
... Forget about it. It's...
( ... )
... How much did you see?

[Though he wonders what of that, if any, Mika even remembers as truth.]

... Someone taking advantage...? Ferid...?
( He... doesn't think he remembers Ferid in his dream, but it is a dream - there's bound to be things he doesn't remember. )
... I just... remember the orphans. ( :') ) I don't remember any vampires.

I suppose you don't remember that either, though.
