[ Jing Yuan has been, as it so happens to be, seemingly taking his sweet time with everything. All people have been moving forward, making their choices...
...Yet, it is he who sees the full picture. Shadows, vague shapes, the darkness the etches at the back of his mind, a future still formless and uncertain, with the whispers of whatever other misbegotten plans of the Moon that rebels in sinking over the horizon. That stirs the oceans within the deep, and summons chaos threatening to reign to herald in the Great Calamity.
Thus now, Jing Yuan calmly asks at a certain time on a certain day for everyone to gather in his room for a meeting. The room is large as well as spacious enough for five people, though it is still something of a tight fit. There are a multitude of chairs, alongside a spot designated for a table, with notepads, writing implements, and...snacks.
It seems Jing Yuan has brought some basic food (a variety of seasonal fruits, the traditional green tea in a jade-colored teapot with small cups available for everyone, and some egg sandwiches.)
If anyone needed to be reminded or escorted to the meeting, Jing Yuan would personally also have made sure of it. ]
Greetings everyone. I am happy to see all of you can make it.
We should discuss matters of importance, such as what we have heard from foreign delegates, or from other sources. Though, it is also imperative to ensure we each know each other's names.

I don't understand the purpose, though I do believe it would be remiss of us to forget what's been said to us.

There was an expedition team with him that conducted some research out, apparently in the East, and it resulted in explosive consequences, wiping out all but one. Have they said anything about that?
