He might but he will just circle around to it. Or he will just leave it.
More importantly... ]
I followed up on some matters. Whether or not they are still of relevance is the question, but far be it for me not to mention them, no?
Based upon the words of a man named Henry, there is apparent tension between the North and the royal family in Central. Of which I was told had something to do with the fact that Oz himself once offered protection to the Northern lands himself. As well as his own circumstances with Arthur, who had once resided in Central as a prince himself, only to have been abandoned, and then at a time taken underneath Oz's wing. Though, I am told that this tension has been communicated as worries of retaliation due to this history and general concerns of safety.
I was also informed by apparent word of another nameless Northern delegate that apparently prior to even the ball itself, the monsters' patterns in the North have been noted as extremely abnormal. This seemed to potentially have greater consequences, as possibly being the reason behind one settlement to take in more individuals than expected. I imagine that the monsters have simply been wiping out certain settlements here or there due to this activity.
[ ALSO GUESS WHAT I FOUND WHERE HE GOT INFO ABOUT THE SOUTHERN WIZARDS so he will mention that now since he definitely would now. ]
In addition, I was informed by Solomon that the missing Southern wizards returned at some point before the ball.
[ Moving right along... ]
I also followed up on what I could regarding the East mission situation. Joseph Collodi, the man that the Easterners ended up following on the heels of his supposed involvement in the automaton situation was also sighted previously at the ball. It seems quite incidental, but also certainly means he was a man of some significance, I imagine. I'm sure you followed along the meeting very well yourself so I don't need to rehash any further details about him, unless you wish for me to give you a more detailed overview in case you missed certain aspects. As an aside, I was told he was just as into doing something with his creations as he is implied to have been by his actions. I suspect that at that time he may have been influenced by that large moon meteor and whomever was collaborating with him before he was subsequently assassinated before our fellow Easterners' arrival.
In addition, there is something else. Before I begin, have you heard of the wizards Snow and White?
[ Jing Yuan will give that tidbit about them in a bit, he is just making sure if Khun has background about them or not. ]
[ khun nods, following along. he writes a few notes in some ridiculous looking language at certain points, but doesn't comment on anything in particular. ]
[ Ah, he recognizes that language from before, he thinks; he witnessed it upon entering Khun's room that one time... ]
First of all, it appears that those within the North were summoned by a spell conjured by them...what triggered that appeared to be the fall of the barrier courtesy of the chimera that had been running amok around the City of Ice.
In addition, there was a memory I witnessed regarding them. If you happened to have experienced something similar, I would like to know.
[ Such as it is, Jing Yuan is not going to speak on the whole of the dialogue.
He will simply slide Khun this paper with the words written upon it. Funny how the Divine Foresight gets a memory about mages with foresight, what a coincidence...anyway. ]
[ he reads and then pulls out a notebook and pen from his pocketspace. ]
A prophecy about us and the Calamity. [ interesting, but it doesn't tell them anything concrete he thinks. he turns that information over while flipping to a page that jing yuan will actually be able to read. ]
I had one that sounded like it involved the East and the West.
Yeah, I think it's more background but it might be useful one day. We still don't really have an idea what's beyond all the countries retrieving a fragment of the Moon.
[ either a new pattern will emerge or something decisive will happen, but they'll have nothing to go on either way. ]
no subject
Then that's all I have to ask you. [ he looks at his fellow western wizard, waiting to see if they have any follow-up questions for him. ]

I do, they're from the North. What of them?

It does sound something like that. Though, it is ironic an Easterner also partook in taking a piece of that meteor on East territory.
But, I doubt Joseph had any relation to whoever was speaking.
[ And it may be that it will never be anything that occurs with any sort of importance, but it is still something to keep in mind. ]
