I don’t like killing. It… disrupts my senses, the smell of blood and the sound of bones breaking.

[ Even thinking about it makes him feel ill. ]

He focused on that, and told me that seeking revenge like this isn’t me.

...Not yet. I'm not interested in killing just anyone, and I haven't been able to track them down.

It's hard to imagine not being satisfied, at this point.

Sometimes I wonder how many more lives they've burned through since I got out. How many more people got used up until they had nothing left of value, and tossed aside like trash for it.

If we can't stop relying on magic before I die, then I want to put a stop to that side of it, at least. Leave magic in the hands of people who actually give a damn about fellow humans instead of the results of their next experiment.
