( Khun's speed makes him a problem. While it might not be a bad idea to tell Ahito to call for help - Mika would hear it, so long as he's on manor grounds - there's a good chance he'd be dead before anyone gets there... Maybe it would be better to kill Khun now, before he becomes a problem.

The question borrows him from his scarlet thoughts, and gives him pause. He... shakes his head. )

( Realistically, Mika knows there's not a lot people could've done to triage that situation - feeding him blood to address the frenzy isn't very effective when your neck has a hole, but healing him when he's about to frenzy is a risk. Still, Mika can't help but fuss anyway. )

Range works. Yamato's idea wasn't bad, either. Knocking out everyone involved first might be a middle ground until you can manage ranged healing.

I haven't tried any magic to knock anyone out yet... Besides that, north's more known for power over subtlety.

[He is not going to just blast everyone with offensive magic. That is probably a poor idea, even if everyone's now Wizard.]

I guess I'll just leave that part to him next time.

Yeah, I guess. I haven't really talked to him, but his magic's stronger than ours. He's... weird, though, whatever he is.

( Vampire? Zombie? Mika only knows about vampires, so he has no idea what else would qualify. But if he's a vampire, he doesn't think he likes him (Mika prejudice mode activated for literally no reason). Still, he knows he can't say for certain either way. )

... I can hear your muscles twitching and your blood's flow. The way your guts move around and your bones shift. And pretty much everything on manor grounds. Not everything's distinct, but I could pick out a scream, for example.

I learned how to tune it out. It's pretty easy.

( Very easy, since he lacks the capacity to want to interpret any of these sensations. It just becomes white noise. )

The only distracting thing is the sound of blood. And when a person's pulse quickens, their blood flows faster... it's like the aroma of freshly-baked bread from a window. It's hard to ignore.
