He heard something like this just before he got here, didn't he? From a guy who cares way too much, who's too nosy and intrusive and doesn't care about the walls Yamato has carefully crafted over the years to keep everyone out. Those walls have been cracked, beaten and battered, but they're still there. They're still up, even if they're slowly starting to crumble.
As far as he can tell, Malice is the sort who'll mind his business and let the wall rebuild...or fall, all on its own.
